Since Saturday, 01 February 2025, the new exhibition “GETANZTER RAUM: two- and three-dimensional objects” by Jean Kirsten, Dresden can be visited.<\/span><\/h4><\/a><\/div>

Due to its great success in 2024, the glass exhibition will be extended with new exhibits under the title “World Cultural Heritage Manual Glass Production”.<\/span><\/h4><\/a><\/div>

2012 Thuringian Monument Protection Prize, 2019 German Prize for Monument Protection, 2024 European Cultural Heritage Prize Europa Nostra<\/p>\n

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, the European heritage association Europa Nostra announced this year’s winners. One winner in the “Conservation and adaptive reuse” category is “Haus Schulenburg Gera. The European award has been presented since 1978, and in 2023 it will be presented for the restoration of the Royal Gardens in Venice and the restoration of the late Gothic carved altar by Veit Sto\u00df in St. Mary’s Church in Krakow.<\/p>\n

Henry van de Velde Museum<\/h2>\n

Haus Schulenburg houses a museum with a globally important collection of van de Velde’s book designs. 110 years of Haus Schulenburg<\/h2>\n

In 1913\/14, the Belgian universal artist and Bauhaus pioneer Henry van de Velde built the country house for the Gera textile manufacturer Paul Schulenburg.<\/p>\n
